Use fdisk to know what is the disk available to create a storage repository:

fdisk -l

Find which device is your new local disk, example

Disk /dev/md3: 1991.8 GB, 1991804649472 bytes
2 heads, 4 sectors/track, 486280432 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 8 * 512 = 4096 bytes

Then use sr-create to create a new storage repository for the virtual machines:

xe sr-create content-type=user host-uuid=%INSERT_HOST_UUID_HERE% type=lvm device-config-device=/dev/md3 name-label="Local storage"

Open XenCenter, login to your XenServer host, and you should see “Local storage”.

Use the righ mouse button over “Local storage” and click on “Set default”.
